This spring, the ICCSD Foundation awarded $50,000 in school and classroom Excellence Fund grants to 8 different projects. Grants awarded so far include:

What Happens In A Makerspace?
In a recent Grant Wood AEA article, Librarian Chelsea Sims, from SEJH, shares a little bit about what you might find in one of our secondary school Makerspaces and how the spaces are being used in our schools. The ICCSD Foundation funded Makerspaces in all ICCSD secondary schools in 2016 and 2017.

LiveArts @Hancher Continues
All 8th graders were able to experience a live performance at Hancher again this school year. As part of LiveArts@Hancher, coordinated by Any Given Child, students attended Feathers of Fire: A Persian Epic on April 4th.
