Symphony Gift Match Challenge!
YOU did it!!! Thank you to everyone that contributed to the Symphony Goes to School challenge from Doug & Linda Paul! The $2,500 goal was met! Every 4th grader in the District traveled to The Voxman Music Building on September 25 for the performance. Later in the school year, look for Symphony Goes to School to continue with LIVE quartet performances for the younger elementary students.

This spring, the ICCSD Foundation awarded $50,000 in school and classroom Excellence Fund grants to 8 different projects. Grants awarded include:

South East Junior High students would like to give you a tour of their Makerspace! Click on the picture above to see what you might find in their Makerspace. The ICCSD Foundation provided funding to establish Makerspaces in all ICCSD secondary schools in 2016 and 2017 and continues to fund supplies and additions each year.

Celebrate the 20th Run for the Schools!
The 20th Annual Run for the Schools took place on a beautiful say for a run – Sunday, October 14. Thank you to the nearly 1500 runners and 200 volunteers that came out to celebrate the 20th, support our schools, and have some fun! We are hoping to announce the Torch trophy-winning schools and the final amount raised soon!
Staff Honored with Shine Awards
Three teachers were welcomed back to a new school year with a Shine Award in September. NXT Bank sponsored this month’s award, making it possible to honor great staff in this way.
Fall Dine Out was a Success!
Thank you to our 41 restaurant partners and to all who dined out on September 27. The fall Dine Out event brought in over $11,000 in support of our schools! Please thank our restaurant partners by visiting often!
