Silver Salute

Silver Salute

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do, so throw off the bowlines, sail away from safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
Mark Twain

The annual Silver Salute celebration, held in May, recognizes staff members celebrating 25 years of service and/or those who are retiring from the District. This special program allows the honorees to include family and friends and take time to celebrate such a momentous achievement.
